Living Streets are a charity who work with both town planners and the general public to promote and encourage walking, especially within urban spaces. We were asked to develop a visual brand concept for them that had a more campaigning tone and encapsulated the idea “walkable neighbourhoods come to life”. The concept aimed to promote walking as a way to improve both mental and physical health.
The campaign encouraged users to walk locally, to make it a part of their daily routine and help people reconnect with their community. The app was a central part of the campaign, as it gives users the tools to make a lifestyle change. The app promotes walking, by allowing users to map out their journey (giving options based on how quick, scenic, ect the walk is) as well as recommending walks within their area.
